Just a comment. I ran across your page. Saw the post of your paper about birthmother info. My youngest son, Reese is 15 months. It is an open adoption. His mother was 16 when he was born. I can't say that we have always had a great relationship. At first, she was very emotional & I was scared that she would want him back. So I pulled away. But, after alot of communication we finally expressed our feelings. We love her & can't imagine her not being involved. Sorry for being nosy. Good luck! ~Ivy
No need to be sorry. It’s been A roller coaster for sure, but things have been getting better. It’s my aunt and her partner who adopted my son, so it’s an open adoption. I live in Utah and they live in California so I haven’t had the chance to see him yet since the hospital. I’m just excited for everything in the future.
